Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is confidential. Psychologists and psychotherapists are bound by professional ethics and legal requirements to keep your information private. Private information including that of which is disclosed in therapy is always confidential at Lakeside Psychological and Educational, with the only exception being if there is risk of harm to yourself or others.
Does my insurance cover session costs?
Insurance coverage for psychological services varies depending on your provider and policy. Do I need a doctor's referral?

How long will therapy last?

How long do assessments take?
Most assessments will be conducted in two 3h sessions and one feedback session to review the results in the report. The length of these assessments can vary based on what is being tested, but a timeline will be provided as part of the process.
